Non-Metallic Pressure / Vacuum Relief Vents
Non-Metallic Pressure / Vacuum Relief Vents
Chemoil Advance Technology supplies Non-Metallic Pressure Vacuum Relief Vents from recognized manufacturers for pressure and vacuum protection of storage tanks handling corrosive or chemically aggressive media. These vents are designed with non-metallic materials where appropriate to provide material compatibility for demanding chemical storage applications.
A pressure vacuum relief vent helps control pressure changes inside a storage tank during filling, emptying, thermal expansion, thermal contraction and other normal operating conditions. When tank pressure rises above the specified pressure setting, the pressure-relief function allows vapor to escape. When internal vacuum develops beyond the specified vacuum setting, the vacuum-relief function allows air or another designated gas to enter the tank, according to the vent design.
