End-of-Line Deflagration Flame Arresters
Chemoil Advance Technology supplies End-of-Line Deflagration Flame Arresters from recognized manufacturers for flame propagation protection at the vent outlets of storage tanks, vessels and process equipment handling compatible flammable gases and vapors. These devices are installed at the end of a vent line and are designed to help prevent an external flame from propagating through the vent opening into the protected equipment under specified conditions.
The arrester incorporates a specially engineered flame-arresting element that absorbs heat from the flame front and reduces the energy available for continued flame propagation. When correctly selected for the application, this can help interrupt deflagration propagation through the vent path.
