Lined Butterfly Valve
Rubber / PTFE-lined butterfly valves designed for large-diameter corrosive fluid isolation in chemical processing, water treatment, pulp & paper, and industrial effluent applications.
What Is a Lined Butterfly Valve?
Lined butterfly valves feature a complete rubber or PTFE liner moulded into the valve body, providing a continuous corrosion-resistant barrier between the metallic housing and aggressive process media. The disc is typically rubber-encapsulated or PTFE-coated to maintain full lining integrity at every position. Suitable for large bore pipelines handling acids, alkalis, slurries, and corrosive liquids, these valves combine the compactness and low-torque benefits of a butterfly valve with outstanding chemical resistance.
