These valve assemblies combine a gate valve with a pneumatic actuator to provide remote and automated operation where dependable pipeline isolation is required.
A gate valve is primarily designed for fully open or fully closed service. When fully open, the gate provides a relatively unobstructed flow path, while closing the gate isolates the process line. The pneumatic actuator enables the valve to be operated using compressed air and control signals from an automation system.
