What Is a Lined Plug Valve?
Lined plug valves use a tapered or cylindrical plug rotated 90° within a PTFE or PFA-lined body to control or direct fluid flow. The complete fluoropolymer lining of the plug, body bore, and seats ensures no metal contact with the process media — making them ideal for handling chlorine, hydrochloric acid, sulphuric acid, sodium hydroxide, and other highly corrosive fluids. Available in 2-way, 3-way, and 4-way configurations for flow diversion and multi-port distribution in chemical plants and refineries.
